At the moment, I'm a full-time student majoring in history, philosophy, and english (although you'd never guess the latter by my massacre of the English language). I'm also getting a minor in medieval studies. My interests are varied and run the gamut from "typical college hobbies" to "outright eclectic." The basic rule of thumb, however, is that I like anything relating to the outdoors (hiking, stargazing, etc. etc.) and preferably at night (exploring abandoned buildings, walking at 3:00 AM, so on and so forth). I enjoy writing, playing racquetball, fencing, and listening to classical music. I'm generally patient and have learned to like the role of "Listener" amongst my friends. If you're looking for the half-assed online journal of a hyperactive college student with the attention span of a gnat, you're looking in the right place.

I'm currently studying abroad in Ormskirk, England. I essentially use it as a base from which to travel all across Europe, although I've spent most of my time exploring England and Scotland. As you can probably imagine, I'm having the time of my life with a group of especially unique and independent people.
